All patients receive 24-hour routine and emergency medical care and are in constant interaction with our caring, skilled nursing department who provide continuous physical and emotional support while promoting mobility, flexibility and independence.

The Therapeutic Recreation Department at Carillon offers a comprehensive program of leisure activities including evening and weekend programs.

Treatment and care are individualized under the direction of each participant’s personal physician. Each member of the program is provided with a comprehensive care plan.

At Carillon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, we believe in the power of socialization and recreational activities as part of our efforts to restore health. Our therapeutic recreation program helps our patients work on mobility and other skills outside of their other speech, physical, or occupational therapy sessions, and it also gives them a chance to develop friendships essential to feeling joyful and self-confident.

At Carillon, we are concerned with the optimal health of our patients and residents. Our Food Service chefs understand the superior nutritional benefits of home-cooked meals and they skillfully prepare many of our popular meals from scratch in the kitchen. Our beautiful dining room offers a relaxing ambience for patients to enjoy healthy and nutritious meals and opportunities for socialization. Our staff dietician customizes a diet for patients based on individual preferences and medical restrictions.

Carillon operates within the guidelines of the State of New York Department of Health. Our interdisciplinary team plans and executes care for each resident based on a holistic approach; medicine, nursing, dietary, rehabilitation, social services and other.
